Welcome to milesclarkphoto.com.

This page was written so that you can learn a little about myself, my passion, experience and origin.  I was born and raised in London, England and come from a very creative family. My father was an advertising guru, my mother is a painter, my brother a professional fashion photographer and my sister in media and radio.  Since a young age I was submerged in the artistic world and knew that it was a passion for me.

After the standard school years, i attended Middlesex University where i completed my art foundation Diploma and then onto Southampton University to complete my Degree in Graphic Design.

Being an adventurous person and having passion for snowboarding I decided to move to Whistler B.C after my studies.  Once I stepped on the fresh powder of the west coast I was immediately optimized by the majestic portrait that stood before me.

My adventure did not only bring me to B.C but also the beautiful province of Quebec.  I had the opportunity to work for two photographers where I learnt a great deal about how the industry works and the technical skills to survive. In 2010, I realised that my passion for photography was being slowed down by the language barrier in Quebec and decided to move back to B.C. It also helped that the 2010 Olympics were being held. I was lucky enough to get my Canadian residancy and having now moved back to BC i call Vancouver my home.
